In February 2025, positive rainfall anomalies were observed in most parts of the Philippines, northern Borneo, northeastern Sumatra, central eastern Vietnam, southern Thailand, and parts of central Papua and southern Borneo (top left).

In contrast, drier than normal conditions were recorded in southern Borneo, and localized patches of Sumatra, southern Sulawesi, Java, and eastern Papua.

Elsewhere, no significant rainfall anomalies were noted in February 2025.
