June 2025 Rainfall (CPC-NOAA) Analysis
In June 2025, above-normal rainfall was observed in many parts of the Philippines, Vietnam, and Myanmar, including Java Island, Papua, and Timor-Leste.
Wetter-than-normal conditions were also noted in patches of Sabah, Malaysia, southern Thailand, and southern Sumatra.
Conversely, drier-than-normal conditions were recorded in Cambodia, northern Thailand, as well as parts of Sulawesi and central Sumatra. Rainfall in other areas of Southeast Asia was generally near normal.
