June 2025 Rainfall (JMA) Analysis

In June 2025, above-normal rainfall was observed in parts of the Philippines, central and eastern Vietnam, northern and southeastern Myanmar, and eastern Indonesia including Papua and Timor-Leste. Wetter-than-normal conditions were also noted in pockets of Malaysia, southern Thailand, and southern Sumatra.

Conversely, drier-than-normal conditions were seen in central Cambodia, northern Lao PDR, northern and western Thailand, as well as parts of Sulawesi and central Indonesia. Rainfall in other areas of Southeast Asia was generally near normal.
