In June 2025, cross equatorial wind anomalies dominated most parts of Indonesia and southern Philippines while westerly wind anomalies was observed over the rest of the region. Moreover, cyclonic wind patterns was observed over the Philippine Sea and the South China Sea.
Meanwhile, positive SLP anomalies where observed over most parts of the region except for the negative SLP anomalies over the Philippine Sea and the South China Sea.
