In March 2025, prominent northerly to northeasterly winds where observed over the northernmost of the Philippines, central Indonesia and most of Mainland SEA while easterly wind anomaly was observed over the rest of the Philippines and Indonesia.

South to southwesterly wind direction where noted over Sumatra. Meanwhile, negative SLP anomalies where observed over the Maritime Continent and the southern part of Mainland SEA while positive SLP anomalies where observed over the rest of the region.
