Negative SLP anomaly was observed in most parts of the Maritime Continent (MC) while positive SLP anomaly was observed in the mainland SEA for the month of April.

Easterlies to southeasterly wind anomalies dominated most parts of the MC while westerly wind anomaly was observed in Southern MC for the month of April.
