CPC Leaky Bucket Soil Moisture Model captured a decrease in soil moisture percentage in the Philippines, Lao PDR, Brunei, most of Thailand, Malaysia, Northern Vietnam and Western Cambodia and some parts of Malaysia while an increase of soil moisture soil moisture percentage was observed over the rest of the region.
