Tropical Storm Leepi in 2024 was a relatively weak storm that formed near the Ogasawara Islands and moved north-northwestward before intensifying into a tropical storm. It reached its peak intensity with 35 kt winds and a central pressure of 1002 hPa east of Japan before turning northeast and weakening back to a tropical depression. Leepi eventually transitioned into an extratropical cyclone over the sea east of Japan.
