Tropical Cyclone Yagi, known as Super Typhoon Enteng in the Philippines, entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) in early September 2024, impacting Luzon with heavy rainfall and causing significant flooding and landslides. It then intensified over the South China Sea, becoming a powerful typhoon before making landfall in Hainan, China, and northern Vietnam. The storm resulted in casualties, displacement, and widespread damage across multiple countries.
