2004_HAGUPIT

Developing concurrently with Sinlaku, Hagupit formed northeast of the Philippines and moved steadily toward the East China Sea. It steadily organized into a compact, intense typhoon before making a direct landfall in Zhejiang Province, China. Hagupit caused significant power outages, structural damage, and severe coastal flooding before sweeping over the Korean Peninsula and turning extratropical.
