Typhoon Jelawat

On March 24, a tropical depression formed to the east of Philippines, on the following day it was intensified into tropical storm and named it Jelawat. TS Jelawat was moving in Northwesterly direction while traversing Pacific Ocean. On the 28th of March it intensified into a severe tropical storm. On the next day it intensified into a Typhoon and intensified again into a Suoper typhoon on the 30th of March while moving Northeasterly direction. Immediately after hitting its peak of intensity, Jelawat start to weakening rapidly. During the next couple of days, Jelawat moved in Easterly direction and dissipated on April 1st.
