SAOLA (QUEDAN) has re-intensified back to a Severe Tropical Storm (STS) as it accelerates to the north-northwest, while over the North Philippine Sea.  It exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR)  on Oct 28, 2017. STS SAOLA increased its strength to a Typhoon while moving north-northwestward and passed close to Okinawa, Japan on October 29, 2017.
