Typhoon Doksuri (Maring)

On September 10 2017, Tropical Depression located in Pacific ocean east of Philippines (lat 14.3N lon 130.0E) moved in west northwest direction. The depression made its landfall east of Philippines on September 12. The tropical depression intensified into a tropical storm and named “Doksuri” with a wind of 35 knots near the center when it exited the land mass of the Philippines. While traversing the west Philippine sea tropical storm Doksuri intensified into a severe tropical storm and intensified further more into a Typhoon with a maximum wind of 80 knots near the center. Typhoon Doksuri weakened when it made its landfall in Vietnam and dissipated on September 16.
