STS Pakhar (Jolina)

On August 24, LPA esat of the Philippines emerged into a Tropical Depression while moving westward. It strengthen into a Tropical Storm and was named “Pakhar” by JMA then made landfall in Northern Philippines on August 26 and traversed the mainland while moving west-northwest. On August 27, while in the West Philippine Sea, it developed into a Severe Tropical Storm before it made landfall in southern China then dissipated on Aug 28.
