Assessment of rainfall for June 2023 showed that rainfall anomalies in most parts of ASEAN region are within the near normal range (50 to -50 mm). However, positive rainfall anomalies (50 to 150 mm) were observed over extreme Eastern part and sumatra island of Indonesia , Southern part of the Philippines, Southern part of Vietnam and Northern part of Laos. Furthermore, Northern part of Myanmar, and Central part of Indonesia are within the negative rainfall anomalies (-50 to -150 mm).
