In October 2024, warmer temperatures were observed across the Southeast Asia. The strongest anomalies were observed over Brunei Darussalam, central Lao PDR, and parts of Indonesia and Malaysia. Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, and the Philippines also recorded consistent warm anomalies in the +0.5°C to +1.5°C range.
Elsewhere, no other significant temperature anomalies were noted.
