For October, the rest of the ASEAN region experienced slightly warmer than average surface air temperatures except for the southern part of the Philippines, most parts of Myanmar, western and southern parts of Thailand, some parts of Indonesia, and Timor-Leste where near-average surface air temperatures were felt.
