For September, the rest of the ASEAN region experienced slightly warmer than average surface air temperatures except for the southern part of the Philippines, southern Myanmar, most parts of Thailand, and some parts of Indonesia near-average surface air temperatures were felt. On the other hand, a slightly cooler than average surface temperature was experienced in Timor-Leste.
