Assessment of rainfall for April 2023 showed that positive rainfall anomalies (50 to 150 mm) were observed over Singapore and Central Eastern part of Indonesia. However, negative rainfall anomalies (-50 to -150 mm) were observed in most parts of Thailand, the southern part of Myanmar, the Northern part of Laos, North Eastern part of Vietnam, and the Maluku region of Indonesia. Furthermore, the rest of the ASEAN region are within the near normal range (50 to -50 mm).
