Assessment of rainfall for February 2023 showed that most part of ASEAN region are within the near normal range (50 to -50 mm). However, positive rainfall anomalies (50 to 250 mm) were observed over Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Central to Southern part of the Philippines, Central and Eastern part of Indonesia. Furthermore, negative rainfall anomalies (-50 to -150 mm) were observed in Sumatra and Sulawesi of Indonesia and central Thailand.
