January 2022 Temperature Assessment
For January, slightly warmer to warmer surface air temperatures were felt most parts of Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Central and Southern part of the Philippines, most part of Malaysia and Singapore, southern part of Brunei, central part pf Indonesia including north of Sulawesi. However, slightly cooler to cooler than average surface air temperatures were observed in western part of eastern Indonesia. Meanwhile, the rest of the ASEAN region have experienced near average surface air temperatures.
