Positive SLP anomaly was observed in the northern part of the SEA region while a negative SLP anomaly was observed in the central and southern parts of the region for the month of May.

Easterly to Northeasterly wind anomalies dominated most parts of the region while weasterly to southeasterly wind anomalies were observed in the northern parts of the South China Sea for the month of June.
