Negative SLP anomaly was observed in most parts of the SEA region except in Northern parts of Vietnam and Myanmar where positive SLP anomaly was observed for the month of September.

Easterly wind anomalies dominated most parts of the Maritime SEA except Sumatra while Westerly to Northwesterly in the mainland SEA. A cyclonic circulation was observed near Northern Philippines.
