Assessment of rainfall for December showed that most part of ASEAN region are within the near normal range (50 to -50 mm). except for Southern part of the Philippines, Nothern and Eastern part of Malaysia including Sabah, Southern part of Thailand and Java Island of Indonesia where positive rainfall anomalies (50 to 150 mm) were observed. However, negative rainfall anomalies (-50 to -150 mm) were observed in most parts of Indonesia.
