CPC Leaky Bucket Soil Moisture Model captured an increase of soil moisture percentage in most parts of the Maritime Continent except the northern part of Western Malaysia, some parts of Sabah and northwest part of Kalimantan where decreased of soil moisture percentage was observed in January.
