In September 2025, easterly wind anomalies dominated most parts of the region except for the western sections of the Mainland SEA where southwesterly wind anomalies where observed. Moreover, anticyclonic wind pattern was observed over the Northwest Pacific (north Philippine Sea).

Meanwhile, negative SLP anomalies where observed over most parts of the region except for the positive anomalies over the Philippines and some areas of Northern Indonesia.
