In August 2025, easterly wind anomalies dominated most parts of of the region except for Western Indonesia where westerly wind anomalies where observed. Moreover, anticyclonic wind pattern was observed over the Northwest Pacific (north Philippine Sea).

Meanwhile, positive SLP anomalies where observed over most parts of the region except for the negative SLP anomalies over the Southern Indonesia.
