May 2026 Rainfall (JMA) Analysis
In May 2026, below-normal rainfall was observed across most of mainland Southeast Asia and the Philippines, indicating relatively drier conditions in these areas.
Meanwhile, above-normal rainfall was observed in some areas of Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Southern Philippines, reflecting wetter conditions.
