In July 2025, several regions across maritime Southeast Asia experienced warmer-than-normal surface temperatures. Notable warm anomalies were observed in Borneo Island, Cambodia, southern Vietnam, northern Myanmar, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, western Java, and southern Papua.

Elsewhere, no other significant and widespread temperature anomalies were noted.
