For September, most countries in the ASEAN region were observed to experience near average surface air temperatures (-0.5 to 0.5 oC), except for the northern part of Myanmar, Laos, Viet Nam, and some portions of Indonesia, including most parts of the Philippines where slightly above average temperatures were observed.
