In March 2026, the CPC Leaky Bucket Soil Moisture Percentage Model captured an increase of runoff percentage over most parts of the region except for Lao PDR, most of Cambodia, Northern Myanmar, and some areas in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia where a decrease in soil moisture percentage was observed.
