In December 2025, the CPC Leaky Bucket Runoff Model captured an increase of runoff percentage over most parts of the region except for Lao PDR, Cambodia, eastern section of Thailand and some areas in Indonesia and Malaysia a where a decrease in runoff percentage was observed.
