For January, slightly warmer to warmer surface air temperatures were experienced over Myanmar ,central and southern parts of Philippines, and in the northern part of Sulawesi, Indonesia . Meanwhile, near to slightly cooler than average surface air temperatures were observed in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, northern part of the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, and most parts of Indonesia.
